Thai Love Yoga
Yoga & Vedic Thai Intructor
Dallas, TX
How did a farm boy from southern Louisiana become a Yoga teacher and Thai massage instructor? It all began when I visited Unity Church of Dallas in the 80's with a friend, which was certainly a surprise because I promised myself after high school I would not step foot in any church again. I started my spiritual journey and began teaching yoga there when some other friends who had taken “The Artist’s Way” asked me to join them as they went through it again. I had no idea what it was and all of them seemed to be Artistic but me, but I soon discovered that, just maybe, teaching yoga could be my Art. I asked my yoga teacher and surprisingly she said 'go teach' so I did. My Thai experience started when I attended a Vedic Thai Yoga Massage workshop with the Vedic Conservatory (VC). I knew immediately that I had to learn and share this beautiful, healing practice which expanded my Yoga. I registered for massage school and began further study with 'Mukti' Michael Buck, the founder of the VC. I started teaching 3 hour classes of Vedic Thai and traveled to Florida yearly to learn from Mukti and have now realized my dream to teach, travel and become one of the VC's instructors! I also host a monthly Divine Masculine Men's group, enjoy cooking and eating vegetarian and raw food, see lots of movies and attend The Dallas International Film Festival yearly.
